Petrie is looking for a family to call his own. Could you be the one?
Petrie was found as a stray cat in Merritt during the 2021 flood and was rescued by one of the constables stationed in Merritt. From the very beginning, Petrie has always been loving, affectionate, and always in need of cuddles! He is very curious and happy-go-lucky. He not only loves cuddles but also loves to play! Petrie would be a great addition to just about any family.
When he first came into our care we noted some lesions in his mouth and after consulting a veterinarian was diagnosed with an upper respiratory virus called Calicivirus. Don't worry, Petrie can still live a long and happy life! His family will need to look out for any symptoms of Calicivirus and follow up with a veterinarian appointments to keep him happy and healthy. With this virus, it would be in Petrie's best interest to be an indoor only cat.
Are you able to give Petrie a family that he so desperately deserves?
